1.1 SCOPE

Trade: Nationally Certified Height Safety & Access Technicians / Professionals, with min. $10 Million Public Liability.

This specification is to be read in conjunction with the drawings and related specifications provided to:

Design, Manufacture, Supply, Install & Certify an Access & Fall Prevention System for the following foreseeable tasks (where applicable):

  1. Roof Access
  2. Façade & Window Access
  3. Access Between Levels
  4. Elevated Electrical & Lighting Access
  5. Gutter Access
  6. Lift Pit & Tank Access
  7. Mechanical, Solar, Wind & Communication Access
  8. Structural Integrity & Asset Monitoring Access
  9. Access across roofs, un-even & fragile surfaces.
  10. Emergency Evacuation

Outputs:

  1. Compliant Building Access & Roof Safety System, with 10 year warranty (Non-adverse conditions).
  2. Safe Design Report / Detailed Proof of As Built System Compliance (Test, Inspect & Competency Reports).
  3. Standard / Shop Drawings.
  4. Asset Layout & Rigging Plan (Harness-based systems)
  5. User Operation & Maintenance Manual (includes: Base-rescue plan)
  6. Maintain Roof & Structural Integrity
  7. Safe Work Method Statement  - Managing Environment & Task Specific Risks - Consulting with other Trades.
