The 3M™ Scott Safety Compliance Kit has everything you need in one kit. It comes complete with a Sigma 2 Type 2 SCBA set, a Promask LQF positive pressure Full Face mask and a 6.8L, 300 Bar carbon-wrapped cylinder in a large carry bag. Suitable for general industry and for short duration confined space entry work and rescue, petrochemical, oil and gas applications.

Features

The Sigma 2 Type 2 Self Contained Breathing Apparatus has a proven high performance pneumatic system, compact first breath activated demand valve with a bypass and an ergonomically designed lightweight backplate and Type 2 harness.A low maintenance set with low ‘whole of life’ cost it is certified to AS/NZS 1716:2012 and to MED (Marine Equipment Directive) “Shipswheel”. It also features the KevlarTM blend flame retardant webbing with Kevlar cylinder band and corrosion resistant nickel plated components.The Promask LQF Full Face mask is a positive pressure mask made from Halo Butyl rubber and accommodates a wide range of facial shapes and sizes. Comprising of a Procomp™ non-irritating material with reflex seal and TPE (Thermo Plastic Elastomer) oronasal inner mask, the face piece visor features a single plane curvature to minimise reflection. It is made of scratch and impact resistant polycarbonate material with a flame retardant coating that provides excellent panoramic vision. Available with optional prescription lens insert for spectacle wearers, the left sided demand valve connection enables an unobstructed field of vision with the front mounted speech diaphragm offering unimpeded speech transmission.

  • Certified to AS/NZS 1716:2012.
  • The 6.8L 300 Bar Carbon cylinder is a lightweight, high-strength carbon-wrapped cylinder.
  • Cylinders are supplied fully charged, unless otherwise requested and are complete with a nickel plated T-Cylinder Valve fitted with a safety locking hand wheel.
  • It offers 45 minute nominal breathing air time.

Applications

SCBA Sigma 2 T2 is a complete compliance Kit ideal for marine industrial, and short duration confined space entry work, also suitable for short duration industrial firefighting applications.

Standards

The Sigma 2 Type 2 Compliance kit is certified to AS/NZS 1716:2012 and Certified to EN137:2006 Type 2 and MED (Shipswheel).

Storage

The Compliance Kit must be stored in a clean dry environment away from direct heat and sunlight. Storage temperatures should not exceed -10°C to +40°C, with relativehumidity (RH) under 75%.
