Its symmetrical oval shape also means it shifts less under load - making it easier to maintain an evenly balanced load when coupled with pulleys, rope grabs or other devices.

The ISC Steel Oval Keylock Screwgate Carabiner comes with a lightweight screwgate locking mechanism and has a minimum break strength (on major axis) of 25kN.
