The EVO family of descenders has been developed for use in vertical activities, including: Rope access, rope rescue systems, work height and adventure activities including rappelling, waterfall descent and ravines. The EVO has been tested in accordance with CE EN 12841 2006 Type C for use with semi-static ropes with low elasticity with diameters between 10.5 and 11.5 millimeters. The EVO is a Self Balancing Descender. 

This equipment allows the user to perform maneuvers such as:

  • Rope controlled descents. 
  • Automatic locking system without anti-panic. 
  • Move horizontally or inclined planes. 
  • Position yourself at the working point without having to lock or tie the unit.
  • Can also be used to make a system of load carrying in progression, and short climbs in rope (through the addition of a foot cramp model Stec S01). 
  • Side plate with CLIP, allowing to put and remove of the rope quickly.

Allows heavy load drop of up to 250 kg (for advanced users only, refer to the operating instructions for the device in www.safetecbr.com.br) 

The Evo D02 comes equipped with tongue clip and without anti-panic. Intended for professional use, its wire tongue facilitates the placement and removal of the rope.
