It is made of polycarbonate and provides protection from arc flashs caused by electrical short circuiting as well as complete protection from impacts. CONTOUR X can be easily and quickly attached to the VISIERCARRIER (BE-489) using the gear rack of any INCEPTOR GRX helmet without additional tools.
