Sit and Chest

Explore our comprehensive range of Sit and Chest harnesses, designed for height safety professionals who demand precision, reliability, and compliance. These harnesses are essential for those working in environments where both sit and chest support are crucial, such as rope access technicians, HSE managers, and installers. Our selection includes top models like the Petzl Avao Sit, known for its ergonomic design and comfort during prolonged use.

Sit harnesses provide a secure base, allowing for efficient weight distribution and reducing fatigue during extended periods of suspension. The ventral attachment point is a key feature, offering a central connection for ropes and other equipment, ensuring stability and ease of movement. These harnesses are crafted from durable materials, ensuring longevity and performance in demanding conditions.

Chest harnesses complement sit harnesses by providing additional upper body support, crucial for maintaining an upright position and enhancing safety during vertical tasks. Shoulder straps are adjustable, allowing for a customized fit that enhances comfort and reduces strain. When combined, sit and chest harnesses form a complete fall arrest system, meeting stringent safety standards and providing peace of mind.

Our range includes options with quick-release buckles, such as the Sit Fast models, which allow for rapid donning and doffing, essential in time-sensitive situations. Compatibility with various accessories, including lanyards and connectors, ensures these harnesses integrate seamlessly into existing safety systems.

Each harness in our collection is rigorously tested to meet industry standards, providing assurance of their reliability and effectiveness. Regular maintenance and inspection are recommended to ensure ongoing safety and performance. Manufacturer datasheets and inspection checklists are available for download, offering detailed guidance on care and compliance.
